So what will I learn?
We divide the 3 day program into four different parts:
1) Assessing participant levels & identifying learning targets.
Here‘s the thing: not all learning or training programs are created equal. If your teaching or facilitation goals include deep learning, genuine impact and positive change in the lives of your participants, you must meet the learners where they are. In other words, assessing your participants’ levels, expectations, resistances, and aspirations become key to unlocking their learning motivation and gaining their trust in the training process. We believe that true learning is not a “one-size-fits-all” proposition.
2) Crafting engaging learning curriculums.
We believe that learning (no matter the subject) should awaken the mind, inspire deep thinking, and get people excited!
Here, using what we refer to as the "Burger Model", we walk you through the art of crafting interactive and meaningful workshops and training programs that focus on the learner’s experience & engagement. Tapping into tools like active story-telling, experiential activities, deep thinking exercises and facilitation tricks-of-the trade, we try on different mediums for size to see which ones can breathe new life into your material, creating long- lasting impact for your participants long after you leave them.
3) Developing the Ultimate Facilitator's Toolkit.
Leading activities, discussions, reflection sessions & strategy development Presentation styles and facilitation skills are key for keeping participants engaged in the learning process & for extracting learning from their experience. During this part of the course, we explore how to lead impactful reflection and strategy sessions through targeted discussions, how to optimize body language and tone as a trainer, how to resourcefully manage large group dynamics, how to effectively use support materials to strengthen learning, and how to close out learning programs on a high.
4) Closing out learning programs on a high.
