This program is ideal for:

Senior Executives, CEOs, business owners
-
Managers & Head of Department
-
Professionals looking for an opportunity to map out specific professional goals for themselves and others in the year ahead
so what will i learn?
taking a deep dive into reflection, review & lessons learned
We start by creating a space where senior professionals feel relaxed and at ease tuning into themselves and unplugging from their active "to do" lists. This is central in creating the environment most condusive to restorative and productive"grounded days" in over-extended leaders. Next, we take a deep dive into:
-
guided reflection and open discussion on the past year's highlights, achievements, progress, challenges, existing problems and lessons learned. This creates an opportunity for leaders to celebrate accomplishments and identify priorities for next steps in the 'grounded days' process.
-
reconnecting with individual leadership purpose and values, as well as business/organizational vision, mission and direction to set the foundation for strategy development and action planning.
-
taking personal inventories, assessing areas of potential growth and resistance, as well as levels of professional satisfaction and future goals. This step allows leaders the chance to consider their own unique learning and development as a vital component of their ongoing mapping experience throughout this workshop.
Mapping out future goals and action planning based on design thinking principles
Once leaders feel rooted in their beliefs and purpose, we segway to the design thinking process where professionals explore:
-
mapping out pecific changes they wish to enact and realize in the year ahead: we facilitate a process in which leaders can examine each facet of their existing professional life - from team alignment and external partnerships, to operational systems and communication channels, to recruitment and training, to financial health and opportunities - keeping mission and values top-of-mind.
-
identifying potential bottlenecks and false assumptions that could derail envisioned plans : anticipating and identifying potential challenges and obstacles allows professionals the time and space to think of contingency plans and mitigation strategies to counter issues they may face in the year ahead.
-
charting feasible action steps and delegation plans that optimize strengths and drive positive change: with clear steps in driving their envisioned goals forward, as well as distinct accountability frameworks, leaders feel motivated and inspired at the possibilities that lie ahead.
Setting clear markers and metrics for ongoing learning, evaluation & adaptability
In the final part of the program, we examine different assessment and tracking tools that enable professionals to gauge their progress throughout the year, learning to:
-
set feasible and time-sensitive targets as well as quantifiable metrics that allow leaders to know how they are advancing in their plan and where they are falling short.
-
"fail fast" as they roll out their action steps, understanding that quick response times, leadership resilience, and the ability to reframe and actively learn enables them to tweak their existing plan and make necessary adjustments as they go. This process is a vital one as it cultivates a healthy culture around mistakes and temporary failures, empowering leaders to choose progress over perfection.
-
examine their ever-evolving professional ecosystems, daring to reach beyond current circles of known people and resources to create innovative and strategic partnerships, learn from experts that lie outside their field, and further build up their network, systems, and knowledge base.
